A California woman takes the idea of recycling to new heights. Francie Rehwald is converting a retired 747 Jumbo Jet into her dream home.

My question would be: are the guest quarters in the economy section?

I wonder how much it ended up costing.

I see this sort of thing done in the name of "green" and think .... a conventional home of the same size probably would have been greener. I think it's great to build a home out of an old airplane - where the old airplane is. Hauling it (especially with the helicopter) erases a lot of that green-ness IMOO.
