I know, just searching for good articles that might help me better understand variable scoping in javascript and also what I should be doing with javascript objects/OO, I think there are places I should be creating more objects with properties and functions, but aren't.

So I found that thread. I also think I know the original poster from some other board, like an iOS iPhone dev board. At least the same username.

I think I might have to read it 5 or more times. It is very hard to read and understand. More the style of writing. But there are some parts that are very easy to read, and definitely the author has the same beliefs that I have about clean code, well written maintainable code.

But those first few chapters, especially the regex part makes no sense. I think I saw some code mistakes, like a variable name that was used for three lines had a different name on another line, but wasn't supposed to be a new different variable.
