Have you ever wondered how website users navigate the Amazon website? The Website Behavior team collects large amounts of data about website activity. Amazon business teams need to know which marketing campaigns are the most successful. Our team is looking for an experienced engineer to architect, design and lead development on a new web analytics platform. We are building an interactive tool to track key metrics and analyze how website users navigate our site.

An ideal candidate will be deeply technical, innovative, and know how to deliver results.

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5 plus years in software development experience.
  • Designing distributed Java application architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience working with very large datasets

  • Additional experience a plus:
  • Data Mining � aggregating data and visualizing the results.
  • Web analytics � experience with analytics platforms, such as Omniture , WebSideStory, etc.
