Talking about developing for a platform is putting the cart before the horse
What about hardware platforms for Android?
There's the T-Mobile G1.
A second phone, HTC Magic was announced earlier this month.
I've seen people trying to run Android on Netbooks
Supposedly there are some Chinese "knock off" phones that can run Android.
Any other cool form factors?

Motorola, Samsung, and LG should have Android devices out before the end of the year. The Kogan phone, shelved earlier, is supposed to rise again like a phoenix from the ashes. The Koolu Freerunner should be available with Android. And those are just the ones off the top of my head.

Right now, there's not much available. Too many handset makers wanted to gauge market reaction to the G1, and handset makers don't turn out new models with new OSes on a dime.
