Welcome to all you new cowpokes, and a hearty hello to all you old-timers!
The log has been updated, and I'm off to work. Just gotta feed my cowpony before I go. Cheers!

Congrats, Dick!

You've just been zooming along that trail, now, haventcha?

So... learned any cool stuff that doesn't necessarily get taught in books?

Thanks Katrina . I daresay it's due to being retired. I can put more time in than many...

Stuff that doesn't necessarily get taught in books, you say? Well I can't think of anything specific at the drop of a hat but in any case I've learnt a heck of a lot (most of which will be in books or on the web somewhere I suppose). What definitely isn't in books though, is the excellent interaction enabled by the nitpicking system. That is the big plus of the Cattle Drive which makes it a good coupla hundred bucks worth of anybody's money I reckon (and I'm only half way!).

Thanks to all you nitpickers Looking forward to some real mean nitpicking in the second half!

(Sorry about this, Carol... You drop in to wish folks a neighbourly "Good Morning" and your thread gets hijacked!)

Oh, I didn't mean you Katrina - and hijacking is perhaps too snappy a word. I meant the way the thread had quickly drifted to a different topic...

Now I'll shut up. Carol, the floor is yours if you want it...

My cowpony is very miffed at me. All I can do right now is feed her. I've been working so much lately I don't have any time to take her out on the trail, cause I'm so tired I can't think straight, and I figure we'll just get lost if I try to take her out for a run. So she's sulking. She turns her back when I bring her a carrot or an apple.........
Hopefully when the weather gets warmer and the days get longer we can get back out on the trail, heck, we're so close to the end, it'd be a shame not to get it done.
For now, we'll just wave as y'all pass by, and then brush off the dust!

Well, Carol, I think maybe we're both sitting on the same grassy knoll... I have been crazy busy with [insert a gazillion things here] and have not moved a single inch on the trail for... well, months, really.

But as you said... the days are getting longer. Maybe I can fit more into them soon
