Dear friends,

I am a java programmer with 3+ experince but I am a novice to "AI". I am just beginning. Please guild me where to start and how to get going.
I wish to buy a book to learn "LISP". It would be a great help if you could suggest me an ideal book to learn lisp.

Thank You

It used to be possible to download Peter Seibel’s book free of charge. Try googling.

Dear John Todd , Did you try it?? How useful was it for you??
I just read the sample chapters which they have given in their site.. I found it pretty difficult to understand.

Yes I read "Land of Lisp" and it was extremely fun and educating.
I'm surprised that you found the sample chapters are pretty difficult to understand, the book is full of comics and humor.
Maybe you were reading about Macros?
