I see Oracle has the OCPJWSD for JEE 5 and OCEJWSD for JEE 6. It's interesting they changed it from professional to expert. It's also interesting they aren't requiring training for the new expert exam.

Yes it seems they did that with all the EE6 exams:

Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Enterprise JavaBeans Developer
Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Java Persistence API Developer
Oracle Certified Expert, Java EE 6 Web Services Developer
Oracle Certified Expert, Java Platform, EE 6 Web Component Developer
vs
Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Business Component Developer
Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer
Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Services Developer

I have no idea what the difference would be other than the title though...

Yes, that is true, only the
  • Oracle Certified Master, Java SE 6 Developer
  • Oracle Certified Master, Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect
  • require a mandatory training.

We had a similar discussion about the title change here: thread.
