With the size of my reading list, I'd not get to this book for a long, long time so I'd like to pass on my copy to the next lucky winner!

Good grief!

Thank you . Shall send in details. If the book is one chapter at a time, is it being sent as an e‑book?

A few minutes ago, I wrote: . . . is it . . . an e‑book?

I see it says in the first post that it is “electronic”, so it must be an e‑book.

I'm glad to have being so lucky, but I already possess the e-book (even if I didn't have the time to finish it yet).

I'm happy to pass the prize to another lucky fellow moose!

Enjoy
Ivano

I have not got mine yet. When do we get our free copies? Thanks again.

Umm, it's only been 4 days. The publisher will send out the copies, not coderanch. Please be patient.

As I said, it is pointless asking here. We do not know when the publisher will send the books out.

I ordered a print copy for myself from Amazon but the delivery date has been delayed until July. If you look at the publisher's page for the book it says the print edition will be out in June. As Bear says, this is up to the publisher, so if you're waiting for a print copy, the best thing is probably to keep an eye on their website.

This is still in the early access program so I wouldn't hold your breath for the print copy...will probably take a few months

The first post says
"Please send your e-mail address to bookpromotion AT javaranch DOT com to claim your electronic prize. "

So, I think the prize would be in electronic form. I wonder why we are talking the printed form here?

If the print book is delayed until June, then probably the final version of the ebook isn't available yet either.

As I said more than once already, you will get your book, in whatever form it will take, when the publisher is good and ready to send it to you. Until then, it is meaningless and pointless to discuss it any further.
