BTW, this topic was split off from this topic...

https://coderanch.com/t/638477/Jobs/careers/Project-experience-Description

And from the discussion in that topic, I am a bit surprised... that you haven't even thought about where / how to sent out the CVs yet.

I'm not in Germany, but I assume your choices are recruiters, job boards and companies. The alternative is via networking (knowing someone.)

Think about why the employer should hire you rather than someone else. This information should be in your CV.

By "check", do you mean a professional service that will check your CV for language and country - specific no-no's?

And of course, by a large margin, the way to go is via networking. With networking, you stand the best chance to get pass the HR initial cut. In fact, you may be able to skip the HR interview entirely...

Also, when you know someone, you can get status during the process. And an "honest" response, if it doesn't work out, so that you can improve next time.

That's three countries i.e. UK, Republic of Ireland, and Germany.
And two languages i.e. English and German.
There is no "perfect" CV for a particular country, because you need to tailor your CV (or Lebenslauf) for each job application.
If you are outside these countries, do you have a work permit? If not, you probably need to find out how to get one.
In Germany you often have to provide copies of your degree and other qualifications and written references when you apply for a permanent role. You may have to provide translations of these documents as well.
If you are applying for jobs via a recruitment agency, they may be able to advise you on how to present your application. But you still need to make sure you understand the application process, visa regulations etc.
If I were you I'd pick a country, then make sure you can provide all the necessary paperwork to secure a job and a visa. The CV is probably the least of your problems.

Hey Isaac, just if you are interested, if you speak German and English, you could apply in the Netherlands too. (And also in Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg).
