This place seems to have a decent intro to using Javascript for game development. I simply searched for "Can i make games with javascript" on Google and it gave quite a few links, so I would say start there until someone with more knowledge can give you a more direct answer as to any sort of libraries that you can use. I took javascript and "advanced" javascript in highschool, but that was about 13 years ago and I've long since forgotten anything about javascript, so I'm not of much help other than a google search haha. At least it'll be a start though, and it's interesting to know games can be made with javascript.
