Hi Henry!
Thanks for the welcome!
yeah this completely in regards to my career standpoint
Let me clarify everything .
Actually I am a MCA having 4 years of Experience in
Java J2ee ,later i had a long career gap of 6 years due to some personal reasons.
currently I am in the process of resuming my career back.
As i have mentioned i used to work as a developer and i was doing pretty well in my work and than i had to take the break...
so i have never been exposed to hard core development as such . in the past 6 years after looking and hearing from various people around me about the amount of pressure, extend working hours and all, i feel i will not be able to continue as a developer in the long run.
coming to SAP.
after some research and attending a seminar on SAP, i came to know ,various aspects with regards to SAP like good career growth ,good paychecks and to top it all there is a module named SAP Functional consultant.
I found it interesting ,as there is no coding work and much of management.
again, since i am not having much idea about the same.i caught into confusion.
and so i am here to know more from you guys
please friends help me explore further. many doubts are now popping in my head:
1 am i eligible for SAP functional module being an MCA? if yes.
2 shall i restart myself as a SAP professional leaving java experience behind, but again the cost of SAP training is something hard to bear
3 then i left with an option of joining an industry as a java programmer and then take the shift within the company later on.
i request you all the senior and experienced people to please help me out.
thanks a tons
regards
mihika
