Hi,

I have read the web of Selenium but I dont understand very well what it does. Could someone explain me what it does and which are the benefits of using it in my app build in java and the front end in CSS3 and HTML5?

Regards,
Isaac

In short, Selenium helps you automate testing of a web app by allowing you to simulate a user's gestures within a browser. Selenium will even allow you to test different browsers to see how they behave with your web app. See more on the Selenium website.

JMeter has a different goal: to do load/performance testing. Have you checked out their website? http://jmeter.apache.org/
