I was using ePracticelab/MyExamCloud.com mocks for OCJMEA preparation and I am very dissapointed with it.
Because:
- usability of the software is very low. when reviewing answers there is no next/previous buttons and you need to open and close each question and there is no question number when reviewing answers which somethimes makes it very difficult to navigate because I do no know which question I have just opened and which is next. There is question number in the list of all questions but not when you open one question. Also, I havent found option to pause exam once started.
- there are lots of bugs. somethimes I select answers but while reviewing answers I can see it as unanswered and 0 points although I have selected correct answer. this mostly happens with drop down select boxes but also with drag and drop if you leave default (correct) values. also when you log in from different device/computer you get the error message saying that you attempted to log in from different device and that now you need to log in 2 (two) times. Two times?
- questions are not in the same format as the questions on the real exam. there are many questions where you need to enter text or drag and drop text.
- tablets/mobile devices not supported. although advertised as supported, you can not answer drag and drop questions using tablet/phone. you need a mouse. also, page layout of the queston on my iPad2 change when I scroll down and questions text hides behind other text so that I can not read full question.
- no technical support. I have sent a question to their support (created a ticket) and after 2 weeks still no answer.
- bad english. you can not imagine how many errors are there. questions looks like someone used first version of google translate to translate question/answer text from japanese language. someone was in a big hurry while writing those questions/answers since abbreviations in questions text like MVC (
pattern) often were replaced with MCV etc.
- repeating questions. not only that same questions repeat over and over during different sets of 60 questions but they also very often repeat inside of the SAME set of 60 questions.
- and so on...
Overall questions look pretty easy and naive. I hope on the real exam they are going to be equally easy.
