I have a for loop and Im having difficulty understanding it. Does anybody know how I can run this iteration by iteration so I can see what the values are each time the program loops? Im using Eclipse
Hello, have you tried debugging the code that you have written and then setting the breakpoint on the line with the for loop? You should then be able to "step-in" and watch the code as it goes through the iterations. Hope this helps.
In Eclipse? To the left of your code, there is a column of line numbers. To the left of that there is a narrow grey vertical band. Double-click there to add or remove a breakpoint.
Thanks that was helpful but it only shows 3 iterations i'm sure there is more than that, where do I put the break point to see everything as it happens so I can see where I went wrong. Here is the code im working with? How many times does this program iterate before printing the solution.
