It feels like the turnaround time is consistently long for assignments. Is it just my assignments or are others seeing the same thing?
For the last 3 assignments I haven't heard anything for over a week and sometimes two from the nitpickers. I have re-submitted my assignments thinking it got lost or redirected.
If there is something wrong with the email system, what can I do to help out? If there is not anything wrong with the email system, please set up some sort of auto response so I at least know you've received my assignments.
I did not realize when signing up that things would take so long!
If I am your nitpicker on the current assignment - please resend, as I have not received anything in the last couple of weeks.
I try to make sure turnaround is within the first day or two. Occasionally I have let that slip, as I was working 80 hour weeks for a while there, but things are back on the sane side.
I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Not sure how to go about setting up an autoresponse that would only go to students ... Work has been killing me the last couple of months (in particular) and this week was Nutcracker performance week (rehearsals every night and 3 performances this weekend). Things just keep getting added to my schedule and nothing seems to get subtracted. I'd like to say that this week things will get better, but it would be more realistic to say the beginning of January. Anyway, enough venting.
I hear your frustration (and it's not just you). I will try to at least send an acknowledgment for each assignment received. I'm also working on getting more people involved in the nitpicking process ... so hopefully things will improve in the near future.

Thank you for your responses. I completely understand about having a jam-packed schedule. Good luck with everything! Hopefully help (or relief) will come around soon!
Thanks again,
Jeremy
