First, thanks to Tijs Rademakers. I am Alfresco Developer and working on workflow. As Activiti workflow added in Alfresco 4 version we need understand very deeply about Activi BPMN before going for upgradation.
To start with my first question is, Is their any plan to have Designer plugin for Eclipse Helios ? Currently designer plugin only available for Indigo. Just for the designer we have to maintain two different eclipse version.

Hi Sunil,

Thanks. Helios is already a couple of years old. Because the Designer uses the Graphiti framework and the version used only supports indigo and juno we won't support Helios anymore. Version 5.8 of the Designer supports Helios btw, but that's not under development anymore.

Best regards,

Tijs

Ok. So its better to use Indigo in future for all development. Compare to Jboss JBPM designer Activity designer having limited option. However its enough for my Alfresco workflow development. But do you have any improvement plan for designer ?

Yes, Indigo would be a good choice here.
It's always good to know which options you are missing in the Activiti Designer when you compare to other tools like the jBPM designer.
Yes, the Activiti Designer is still under active development, so you can expect more features being added.

Best regards,

Tijs
