We have some workflow having extension as bpmn.xml (sample-activity.bpmn.xml) which are working perfectly in Jboss JBPM. But same are having issue in Activiti as we are not able to install. However workflow with extension .bpmn20.xml (sample-activity.bpmn20.xml) working perfectly in Activiti. Is their any significant difference in extension or is it only for identification ?

Hi Sunil,

It's only a matter of identification. In Activiti you can use the .bpmn and .bpmn20.xml extension.

Best regards,

Tijs

I tried to put bpmn.xml file in alfresco activiti where I got error. So instead of putting .bpmn.xml file I generated .bar file which woks fine.
Anyway as long as it just a matter of identification then we can use any file.

Right, you should use the bpmn20.xml extension in Alfresco Activiti. A BAR file is also fine of course.
But it's just a matter of identification.

Best regards,

Tijs
