I have a web application and I am able to load the home page(JSP) of the application correctly but when I click on a menu item in the home page which sends the request to a servlet, I am getting a blank page in the browser.
While debugging in Eclipse I saw that the request comes to the Servlet which process it finds the next page which is a JSP which it needs to forward it to and then using the request dispatcher it calls the 'forward' method. At this point in Eclipse the request is done but all i get is a blank page in the browser. When I type the path of the jsp file directly in the browser it does open it, but for some reason it is not doing it via the servlet.
I am using Websphere 8.5 and another strange thing is it works perfectly fine with Tomcat server but returns empty page for Websphere for the same code.
Can somebody please help me to identify what is wrong or what I need to check.
