Updated the above announcement to add the days. But for the Javaranch Book promo the winners will get to choose any one book from the listed books. So lots of choice!

Just to clarify, are you referring to the book discount on Mannings or the forum questions?

I mean, can I ask today a question for a book that is scheduled for promotion tomorrow the next?
Will the question in case be answered? Will it be eligible for the the prizes?

    Thanks
    Ivano

Hi everyone, I'm one of the authors of HTML5 in Action. I know very little about Scala or Java as server side languages, but HTML5 in Action will appeal to anyone wishing to provide a rich application experience in the web browser. As a quick taster of the sort of opportunities modern client-side web development affords developers, check out Hello Chrome, it’s Firefox calling! which discusses the experimental support for WebRTC in the latest beta versions of Firefox and Chrome and demos a peer to peer video chat application (this stuff is coming out a little too late to make the book, but we do cover some related things).

If you have any questions about HTML5, JavaScript or CSS3 you can usually find me in the HTML, CSS and JavaScript forum.

Since this is the WEEK of Scala, we are continuing the promos. We will be drawing winners sometime next week so keep on posting. We'll also be posting a coupon code good for 50% off on any of the week of scala books.
