I really want to learn Hadoop, I have good exp in java with Spring, struts, jsp, j2ee, sql. How can i start? how hard it is to learn? Would you please direct to some point or website where I can start playing with it?

yes .. i would start with the above mentioned book ..
and also listen to tutorials on youtube..
simultaneously try installing.. ..although .. i found challenging, installing on windows / cygwin environment.. i got it through ..
now i have issues getting eclipse plug in to work .. its a challenge but you will get through..

am from a similar back ground.. its a different world but not hard to understand..
