Call a Java method from javascript

Hi I'm new using javascript and when I was searching i saw that i can do it directly so.. i thought maybe if i simulate a click i can access a method in java every minute. Until now i got this xhtml:



and this javascript:



but with all this it didn't seem to work. Did I miss something or i did something wrong?

PS: i work with IceFaces
