Hadoop VM ware configuration

Hi all,

I am unable to run the example job on hadoop vm ware.

I am following the yahoo developer network - hadoop tutorial

Error is as follows:
java.io.IOException: Error opening job jar: hadoop-0.18.0-examples.jar

at org.apache.hadoop.mapred.JobShell.run(JobShell.java:54)

This is nothing with Hadoop, it happens because it cannot find the jar file (hadoop-0.18.0-examples.jar ) or the jar file is corrupt

what version of hadoop are you using. Seems pretty outdated. I would recommend setting up the newest version. I used this tutorial. Hadoop 2.2.0 setup
