Hi! I just passed my 1ZO-804 certification and I was wondering are there any good books that could guide me through exam topics. I mean something like Katty Sierra, Bert Bates book SCJP 6. Could you please suggest something?

This is not an exam like the OCPJP. This certification consists of an assignment (write an application based on given requirements) and an essay exam. You are also required to follow a course/training.

The ScjdFaq is a good starting point.

I would recommend Headfirst design patterns or java design patterns. Good reads for understanding of design paterns.
In step 2 after reading some design patterns, read Monkhouse' s preparation guide. good luck.☺

If you can a copy of the SCJP5 study guide by Kathy & Bert, the second half talks about SCJD. That should give you an idea of the scope and topics of the assignment and what to expect.
