Im reading articles about the ioc system for dependency injection, but all of that speaks about the Spring framework... So the question is: does Struts itself implement by default an Ioc technology or it's necessary to include some Spring dependency ?
And in this case, can Spring and Struts coesist togheter in the same project?

Struts is intended to be an implementation of the Front Controller Pattern so no, it does not have IOC built in.
The Spring Plugin is available if you want to use IOC.
