Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right forum to ask thi question, since this has nothing to do with java, but move it to appropriate forum if required.

Question -

i did some google for "How to get patent for an idea", but i still have some doubt.

1.> patents are specific to countries? i mean i am in india, do i need to take patent from indian government only?
if yes, does that means, if someone has US citizenship (just for an example) can implement that idea?

2.> do i need to pay to get patent?
3.> also, i just have an idea, currently i haven't implemented it, but i am planning to. so can i get the patent without implementation of that idea?
4.> what all information i need to get patent?

Thanks,
Punit

Most of these questions should probably be directed to a patent/intellectual property lawyer in your country. Few if any of us here are qualified to give you legal advice.
