Good news for all OCAJP7 and OCPJP7 candidates. It has taken a (very) long time, but the successor of the very famous K&B6 is released on October 13, 2014. Congratulations Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates!

More info on "OCA/OCP Java SE 7 Programmer I & II Study Guide (Exams 1Z0-803 & 1Z0-804)" can be found on the websites of McGraw-Hill and Amazon.

Good luck everyone!

Good news, but what about the UK?

Amazon UK is saying January!

The McGraw website mentions a PDF version, is this DRM free like O'Reilly (great for GoodReader on iPad), Adobe digital editions is unusable for me.

Updating issue maybe? Amazon India says October. And I would expect Europe to be available before Asia.

I received my copy of this book on Thursday. It looks really great, but I do have some questions about the chapter 1 Self Test. I'm new to these forums. Where can I post questions about this book?

I noticed that too when I was considering to buy a copy. And I was a little bit amazed to see on Amazon UK it wasn't available, but on Amazon Germany it is available. That was a little bummer, because my German is very, very limited I could order the book in a (Dutch) webshop as well, but in a Belgian book store it wasn't available yet.

Hi Douglas,

First of all, a warm welcome to the CodeRanch!

Douglas Cyporyn wrote:Where can I post questions about this book?

Don't be shy, just start a new thread and post the doubts/questions. They will be cleared/answered in no time, CodeRanch is really a friendly place for greenhorns If you start a new thread about a mock question, don't forget to QuoteYourSources.

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel
