I'm following this guide http://www.developer.am/ejb3/ and i noted that in case of remote interfaces i need to use InitialContext to lookup beans i need

interface

implementation

Client

I can avoid this sort of lookup injecting beans through field or setter injection. This is an example of field injection:

but for do this, according to the guide, i need an ACC (application Client Container).. What i want to know is: this is only the case of remote interface? With local interface i can ALWAYS invoke beans without addition lookups, either if i've or not an ACC?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
