executeUpdate causes groovy.lang.MissingMethodException

I am trying to do an executeUpdate(), to find and replace an occurrence of a string in my database with another string. However, I receive the following error when I run this script:

groovy.lang.MissingMethodException: No signature of method: java.util.ArrayList.executeUpdate() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.String) values:

I cannot seem to figure this one out, any insight would be great! My script is as follows:

I think you need to do the executeUpdate() on an instance of Sql, not an ArrayList. So db instead of results.
