Tomcat6 Crash

Hello All,
I use tomcat6 and the server keep crashing randomly. Below is the error that I could see from catalina.log. Please help.

This is a real mess. There seems to be an RMI exception, except that Tomcat isn't an RMI server. It's seems to think you are sending a "chunked" request, but the chunks are mal-formed. And finally, it looks like you are using the coyote jk Apache connector and it doesn't like what's coming in from there.

I think I'd start by looking and the Apache and Tomcat mod_jk configurations.

Thanks for your advise Tim.
The setup uses AJP for apache-http and tomcat communication. Tomcat alone crashes several times daily with the same error. there seems to be no logging activity in the JK logs too.

I believe that "Invalid chunk ''" is a problem. I'm pretty sure that there was supposed to be a chunk ID between those quotes. That would appear to be an application bug, not a Tomcat issue.

Also, as I said, Tomcat doesn't serve RMI, so I have to assume that one of the webapps is trying to work with RMI and is also defective.
