Hi All,

I built a swing based JAVA app for inserting values into my database.

And I have been getting this error? Can anyone help me to trouble shoot this error?

Thanks,

Welcome to the Ranch!

The stack trace has already told you what is going wrong.

Some variable on the above mentioned line number is evaluating to null. You can run in your code in a debugger and observe which variable is causing the problem.

Thanks Maneesh! for your reply.

I was looking through that, in my form that I build couple of the fields will have no value filled everytime.

But if I fill all the values in the form, still it gives me the same error.

Can you suggest me a way to handle this senario?

Thanks,
Satish

What happens when you execute that query at the command line?

Another thing about code: those very long lines are so difficult to read. I have broken them so you can see it is easier to read, but you would have done it much better than me had you done it yourself.

I had a issues with my variable type.

Note: If you have any similar issue , please check if you declaring your variable right ( I mean , declare the variable as INT if its a integer in your DB)
