In JLS how many Chapters do I need to prepare for the OCA SE7 Certification Exam.

Hello,

I would like to know how many Chapters do I need to prepare for the OCA SE7 Certification Exam in JLS (https://docs.oracle.com/javase/specs/jls/se7/html/)

In last chapters we have Threads and Locks Concept(not in OCA SE7 Exam).

Another question is: how many chapters in the JLS can you actually read? Have you tried reading it?

None at all!

You don't have to read any chapter or even any sentence from the JLS to pass the OCA certification exam (or the OCP certification exam). A study guide will provide all what you need to know for the exam. I passed already a few exams and I have never read the JLS during my preparation. And luckily you don't have to read anything, because it's written in its own weird, hard to understand language
