Hello Everyone

So I have been procrastinating lately and couldn’t read the books that I should have read by now. While I was browsing the Internet to ‘cure’ my procrastination, I came across a blog that mentioned that one should ‘declare’ the goals for faster achievement of the same.

I understand that this thread will not be useful for others, but hope moderators would not mind starting a thread of the sort. I will edit/update this post itself over the period of time to track the progress. I encourage fellow mates here to ridicule me if I lag behind

I am not completely new to Java/JEE/Spring world; however, my web programming/designing skills are not up to the mark. I must catch up now before it's too late.

Phase 1

Java for Web Applications

Part 2: 16 Oct (5 days)
Part 3: 20 Oct (4 days)
Part 4: 23 Oct (3 days)

Part 2: 10 Oct (3 days)
Part 3: 14 Oct (4 days)

Growing Object-Oriented Software, Guided by Tests

Part 2: 17 Oct (2 days)
Part 3: 22 Oct (5 days)
Part 4: 24 Oct (2 days)
Part 5: 26 Oct (2 days)

Phase 2
TBD

Fingers crossed.

Regards
Adi

A warm welcome to CodeRanch!

I'll move this to our forum for topics not related to programming or technologies.
Please don't mind the name - it's named "Meaningless Drivel" just for fun and not meant to discourage you. Comments here are often pretty meaningful and encouraging.

And good luck with your goals! Keep us posted on your progress.

The dates you have mentioned are already past.
Does this mean that you have completed Phase 1?

Yes, being very familiar with my good buddy P.Rocrastination, I think Adi should mention the year too in those dates

Yet another example of procrastination of not reviewing the text before posting. Apologies. Please read Sep as Oct.

@Modetators: As I understand, individuals are not allowed to edit the posts. Could you please change 'Sep' to 'Oct' in my initial post? Thank you.

Adi Shankara, Karthik Shiraly,

I moved the side conversation, related to editing of topics/posts, to a new topic.
(This informational message will self destruct in two days)
