Swing JTable adjust the selection to account for the new rows when selection mode is set to ListSelectionModel.MULTIPLE_INTERVAL_SELECTION

How to override the public void tableChanged(TableModelEvent evt), in order to not lose previous row selections?

You can hold down the Shift key to extend a selection or hold down the CTRL key to add a single row to the selection.
