Thank you for having me! Its an honor to be invited here, and I can't wait to meet everyone over the course of the week. I hope you all enjoy it!

A little information about me, I've been working with Java for about 15 years and I love the language. One of the first applications I built was an app to help me fold hands in online poker. After a few months it turned into a full fledged poker pot, and I've been hooked on the language ever since. I've dabbled in swing and game development, but web development has been my primary focus.

I wrote this book to help people pass a technical interview and land a programming job. I think programming is a great way to keep your mind sharp and healthy. Its fun and challenging to solve little puzzles all day. There's always more to learn, and in many ways, good code resembles a work of art. So if you are just starting out, stick with it!
