This awesome looks like 8-inch tablet was spotted in Shenzhen over the weekend. It’s stocked with a 1.2Ghz Samsung S5PV210 ARM Cortex-A8 processor, 256MB of RAM, and 8GB of on-board storage. Sadly the prototype only got a resistive touchscreen with an 800 x 600 resolution. According to the manufacturer, the production version of this tablet will come with a capacitive screen *fingers crossed*. The tablet also comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, an HDMI out port, 1080p video playback capabilities, and runs on Google’s Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. No word on the name of this bad boy yet, but if I had to guess I doubt it’ll be anything unique. Unfortunately no word on the price either, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do. - GadgetsRepublic

ust as I hoped suspected…the Transformers are real, and that scene from Transformers 2 that takes place in Shanghai was actually documentary footage. Conspiracy I say, CONSPIRACY! Those doctors won’t be able to dispute my sanity with this kind of proof on my side! OK, maybe I’m getting a tad ahead of myself…
This monstrosity is actually a 1:1 replica of Megatron in Tank mode designed and built by a man who calls himself Steel Legend (well deserved). He didn’t post much information about his project, so no word on the cost, but he does say that all told the model weighs more than 5,000kg (~5.51 Tons)! Honestly, this is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen, but it’d be a million times better if you could drive it. - GadgetsRepublic

Yeah, I think Google has already something like that too for their newest Android phones. Although I've tried it on a phone of my friends and it really is a matter of luck sometimes whether it transcribes correctly or not...

I agree with you on that. But drivers still call/text.. and it's an increasing problem. Wouldn't this be a good solution?

I read an interesting article today about how 10 years ago we probably didn’t imagine to have touchscreens as a standard for phones today. Then the article mentioned the next development, which is touchless devices. Think Kinect, but then for phones… I must say, it sounds attractive for in the car. What do you guys think?
