Would you like to build a Java Swing interface for a state-of-the-art medical informatics product being developed by the Palo Alto Veteran�s Administration in conjunction with Stanford University? The Veteran Administration�s Center for Health Care Evaluation is seeking a Java engineer to work on the development of a Swing-based multi-threaded client-server healthcare application. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

- Experience developing Java Swing GUI
- 3-5 years of Java development experience
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, modular code following well-known design patterns.

Pluses include:
- Previous software development experience for applications deployed in a clinical environment


The Center for Health Care Evaluation (www.chce.research.med.va.gov) provides an intellectually stimulating interdisciplinary research environment, a supportive group of colleagues, and access to the many resources of a world-class research university.
