Hi,

Like PDF files are displayed (opened) in own editor. I need to display some content in notepad or textpad or any other editor available with the client, not in the browser.

How to do that?

TIA.

Define the content type of your response and the client will open it in whatever application they have to support that content type. For example:

is how you might support excel. The problem you are going to encounter is browsers support text, so plain text is probably always going to open in the browser.
