Do we have a javascript function which will keep the same page instead of displaying the blank page while the page is reloaded?

If the browser is displaying a blank page between loads there's not much you can do about it.
If it's really a problem (and it was for me in one project) you can employ Ajax to make the requests behind the scenes and never do a page reload.
