We are using the great XMLSPy to "traslate" from XML to PDF and everything is ok.
but now we need that a graphical designer/artist without knowledge of XSLT/fop etc. does the design,so we need the easiest to use report designer for XML, it should be WYSWYG/visual.
any suggestion?

In our company, Java section is using FOP to produce PDF (no visual editor only TextPad) while Visual Basic section is using Antena with Xselerator as Editor. We are also looking for something like this and thaught xml spy may work as visual editor. Now it's clear that NO

Someone sometimes back posted here a link on converting html to pdf using XSL:FO, may that could help you,I couldn't able to find that link here. BUT there are some visual editor available now, please search in google as well.
Ofcourse if you have to write your of own, it will be little initially.
