Hi guys,
I am a Java/J2EE programmer with 4 years of experience. I am planning to take the architect exam.
Read from some pages, this exam is for developers with over 5 years of experience.
Do you guys think that this exam will help me.
Does this exam really please the recruiters?
Thank You.

It depends, but by and large, answer is YES.
* You may not need this exam if you have already enough exp with enterprise system designs
* this certification is certainly a boost to your resume
* You would learn a lot while preparing for this exam (consider reading atleast 20 books)
* you will be very comfortable with design patterns and applied patterns using EJB
