Hi,

1) Could anyone confirm which version of EJB (EJB 1.1, EJB 2.0 or EJB 2.1) the current SCEA certification (parts 1, 2 and 3) is based upon? I could not locate this information on the Sun website.

2) Does anyone know if the exam will be modified to be based on EJB 3.0 in the near future?

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

SCEA is based on EJB 1.1.

I don't have any idea about whether Sun will chage the version to latest versions. Sun hasn't updated the SCBCD to 1.4.

Let's see...

But even that is not documented anywhere.
And there are substantial differences.
Like in EJB 1.1, BMP was preferred over CMP for performance reasons but EJB 2.0 suggests using CMP.
I have seen a couple of mock exams available online containing related questions.

Can anyone who took exam recently please comment on this.

TIA,
- Tinu

There’s no place like 127.0.0.1. But I'll always remember this tiny ad:
