Friends,
What would be the good start for upgrade exam.. I am thinking to go for it...
thanks
I think the books are:
1. Core J2EE Patterns: Best Practices and Design Strategies (2nd Edition)
2. Mastering EJB 3.0
3.
JSF for nonbelievers (
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/library/j-jsf1/)
4. Implementing Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) with the Java EE 5 SDK (
http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/WebServices/soa3/)
This core materials should be integrated from stuff coming from Enterprise Java Beans by Richard Monson-Haefel and Core JavaServer Faces (2nd Edition) by David Geary and Cay S. Horstmann, plus some articles about persistence Java techniques (JDO, O/R Mappers...). A good repass of all the points of the orginal J2EE SCEA exam (e.g. GOF Patterns, Security, QoS requiremnets, etc.) will be beneficial too.
