Guys,

Are the examples given in EJB 3.0 from O'Reilly really a worth practicing for the SCBCD 5.0 exam? I just got a copy of the book today and I'm planning to work on the samples given in the book. So I just want to know from anyone who has already tried it and benefitted from it for the SCBCD 5.0 exam.

Any inputs?

I have found them extremely useful as they walk you through most of the topics covered by the book. I have also done some variations on a few of them (for example: converting metadata specified in annotations into ejb-jar.xml entries, e.g. annotationless beans).

They are worth a try.

Thanks guys. Yes, till now I have been just reading the specs and I feel that I'm not able to feel what the spec says, but now since I got the book perhaps it's time for me to see somethings in action.
