Tendulkar also crossed the 9000-run mark in the process making him only the fourth batsman in over 100 years of Test cricket to reach the milestone.

Take it as gift and pass it to other as gift because I also got it as gift
Now serious, if you want it then PM me so that I can trace it where it is right now and give it to you.

india 650/5
i believe its time to declare. infact ganguly should have declared earlier so that india can ball 10-15 overs. As Ausies were tired (fielding from two days) there was good chance of picking up wickets, but ganguly decided to play whole day.

In a 5 day match to avoid follow on second team has to
score runs > 200 less the runs scored by first team.
hence 705-200= 505 ... hence 506 to avoid follow ....
but if one day is lost to due to rain ... then instead of 200, 150 will be used .... and subsequently for every 90 overs lost 50 runs will be reduced.

ganguly has decided to bat again, even if india sets victory target of 450+ for aussies on final day.i wonder will india be able to bold them out.
IMO ganguly should have given follow on to aussies. I think ganguly was bit scared of batting on final day.

Out of 117 overs been bowled ... 70 odd were bowled by Kumble and Irfan, hence rest was needed for them. So that was a wise dcision.
Plus had follow on been enforced, with Aussies scoring 400+ in 90 overs ... pressure would have been on indian to bat out 2 sessions on a wearing 5th day pitch.

Well, they now need to make 432 or so runs from 94 overs. Its quite a bold decision by Ganguly, and am sure he is expecting Kumble to do his trick again! If India win this match, all credits to the entire team, and if we lose it, well, thats cricket! )

I think aussie will try to draw the match, not to win.

thats true,
but they play very fast (its their natural style). So Inida will always have a very good chance of winning, provided they don't repair the pitch again. They repaired the pitch in the last match before 5th day .
