Currently my application is launched using a jar file and a batch script. The batch script is executed and it launches the java application with the appropriate arguments and options. I'm planning to migrate to using web start in the future. While reading documentation about web start I noticed something that said "Java Web Start only transfers jar files from the web server to the client".
Does this mean that I cannot transfer updates to my batch script If I need to?

We have an application that can be launched
either way. Check out some sample .jnlp files
to see how you can specify your command line options.

Yeah, but does being a ninja come with a dental plan? And what about this tiny ad?
