I read something a while ago that said something about display properties in JSF components only needing to be in certain classes of the component. But I'm having trouble remembering exactly what it said... Obviously, those properties would need to be part of the tag handler class. On the other hand, it seems unlikely they'd need to be used in the component class itself, since their state won't change.

Does this sound right? Can I safely remove display properties that won't change from the component class? Has anyone read the same information and, if so, do you remember where?

Thanks for any help!

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
