I have created a jsf application using Apache trinidad tags. The problem is that sometimes I am not able to submit the form by clicking once. Only when I click the submit button twice it gets submitted. I am using IE 6.0.

Any Idea regarding this??

I had this same issue in a page that just had a single input text box and a submit. I found that it happened if I tried to submit the form too quickly after the page loaded.

If I waited a couple seconds after page load to submit the form, I didn't have this problem.

I hope this helps

Hi Arun,

This is a consistent behavior? Did you try including a debug point on the action method invoked by the submit button?

I had tested in debug mode also. But The action is getting called only when I click the button for the second time

Do you render button on conditional basis? i.e. Are you using rendered attribute? or <c:if> tag?

No. The button is displayed always. Not rendered based on any condition.
This doesnot occur on all the pages.
