I'm new here at the JavaRanch and I'm new in programing with Java.

I've a silly question but I really don't now the answer:

Can you program own web-services with java?

Yes!

There are plenty of Java Web Services books to choose from and plenty of online tutorials as well. Most of them use Apache Axis, an open source Java web services engine, so you might want to download Axis, pick up a book/tutorial, and start experimenting. And, of course, post questions here if you need help
