Hi,

Was just wondering if there is any tool or utility out there that lets me take a screenshot of the MIDlet when its running on the phone.

I have always taken a screenshot of the MIDlet running in the emulator and then cropped the image to show just the screen of the phone. But i wonder if there is a utility that would enable me to do it on the phone itself.

If not , Any ideas how you would go about designing such a utility?

Regards

How about a regular or digital camera? then scan the image in when you get it back from the developer.

ok ...

havent heard if the series 60 "screen capture" utility works for the MIDlets...Ayan ???

But apart from that ... just thinking .. if some one would try to make some sort of a utility in Java that captures the screens of a MIDlet ... How would they go about it ?

Any ideas ???

Appreciate your comments.

Thanks

Totally depends on what device you are running I guess. I take excellent screen shots of my midlets on the sony p900 using a sceen capture utility that you can get on trial for 10/30 days or so.. think I got it from the handango site or the sony ericcson developer site.
