What is a java programmer rate after passing SJCP?
Is he belong to an intermediate or advance?
Or the advanced is after SCWCD or SCJD?
In real world what classes should a programmer know or experience before you labeled as intermediate or advanced?
I asked this question because there is usually a question with level of skills (beginner, intermediate, advanced) when finding a job.
Thanks.

Hi Nelson,
Your SCJP or SCWD will just let the world know that you know the subjects. They will never assure you to fetch jobs.
You definitely need experience to get into programming. This is based on my experience.
Thanks,
Ramnath

Thanks Ramnath. Presently Im employed now and doing some java works, and eyeing for a better mgt. :-). Im just having a hard time how to identify my level.
Im not using yet RMI, CORBA, not often threads, is this keeping one from labeling as advanced Java programmer?

Nelson, the SCWCD test your knowledge in Servlet, JSP, Web components and a little bit about design patterns.
The SCJD test you knowlegde in writting an application using Coding Conventions, deadlock-safe, etc. You will have to write this assignment in one year. After this, you have to take an essay exam in a Prometric center.
SCWCD is easy to take, because its just one test with multiple choice questions. I will take this test this year and in 2004 study for SCJD.
For me the SJCP is intermediate, and SCJD is advance.
In real world to be advanced programmer you need to know design patterns, coding standards and networking.
